Gifts for Grads

The summer is finally here! Everything is a reason to celebrate during the summer. What better reason than a graduation? I have two different family members who graduated this spring and I was so lost as to what to get them! Luckily I found some great, useful items that they might need for their future endeavors.

For my college grad Jessica, I want to get her the personalized business card case with her name engraved right on the front. Since she's now a licensed pharmacist, I'm going to get her the mortar and pestle pharmacy emblem right next to her name. I'm so proud of her!

Kayla just graduated high school in June. She's going to college in the fall and needs help getting her organizational skills together. I'm going to get her this adorable frog prince note pad set to make sure she always has some notepaper at hand when she's at her desk, working hard. I know she'll do a great job at school.

The Joy of Gardening

Lately, every time I've looked out of my window I've been greeted with the beautiful sight of my flower garden in full bloom. It's an instant day brightener. I've been inspired to bring the beauty of my garden indoors. I have my eye on these garden themed towel hooks for the bathroom and these gorgeous daisy switchplates for my bedroom. Come fall, my flowers may be gone, but their loveliness will be remembered inside my home.

Gone Fishing

I was cleaning around the house this weekend and discovered my dad's old fishing lure collection. The way they sparkle and catch the light is so beautiful and inspiring. I can see why fishing is such a popular hobby! The tranquility of the water and the excitement of making a catch is a lifelong passion for many people. Why not surprise the fishermen and women in your life by getting them some fishing related items to show off their interests instead of just another fishing pole? This fish money clip could be a perfect gift, or maybe this luggage tag for the traveling fisherman who likes to track down exotic fish. Maybe they might like the emblem pin to put on their hat.
