Help Women/ Breast Cancer Petition

Breast cancer is real issue for many women. With Mother's Day approaching signing this petition is a small something we can all do to help all women including mothers. We should all do what we can to help. Here is a link to sign a petition: www.lifetimetv.com/breastcancer/petition/petitionthanks.php

Mastectomy Hospital Bill in Congress.
A mastectomy is when a woman's breast is removed in order to remove cancerous breast cells/tissue. If you know anyone who has had a mastectomy, you may know that there is a lot of discomfort and pain afterwards.

Insurance companies are trying to make mastectomies an outpatient procedure.Let's give women the chance to recover properly in the hospital for 2 days after surgery.

It takes 2 seconds to do this and is very important ... please take the time and do it!

Here at Ahlers Designs we want to help. We have designed a Breast Cancer Ribbon Emblem. This design is available on most of our products. With the profits from this emblem we donate money to Breast Cancer Causes. It s a good thing to do.

The Clip Magnet Queen

This is one of my best selling products. Our Clip magnets measure 1.5" x 1.5". They are strong and available in over 130 different designs. Use them on in your home on refrigerators, hold hand towels on appliances, at school on lockers, or the office on metal doors, file cabinets or file folders. Great gift for a co-worker, teacher or friend. So useful you can give them more than one. My goal it to become the clip magnet queen. Any suggestions on how to do that?

Ahlers Designs my first posting

Hello- This is very exciting. I have been looking for ways to communicate with friends and customers and here it is. My very own blog.

I started Ahlers Designs in 1989 and since then my collection has grown. My focus for the company has been to create affordable, functional gifts that are well designed.
You can find my products at www.AHLERSgifts.com.

Over the years I have traveled to many shows and have met many people. I am hoping this blog will be a way for me to let you all know what is going on in the world of Gail Ahlers and Ahlers Designs. I will also give information on some of the art groups I am associated with and other cool fun facts.
